The Afrikaanderplein is a square in Rotterdam South, on the Paul Krugerstraat.
There was a football field between 1909 and 1917. The main force of Wilhelmina played football on that field, which would become Feyenoord in 1912.
In the early years, until 1960, there was an octagonal bandstand on the square. Opposite the Joubertstraat and between 1960 and 1980 annual events were the fair and the circus, including the circus Toni Boltini. The Roman Catholic Church of Saint Francis of Assisi was built in 1912-1913 on the corner of the square and Paul Krugerstraat. The church was demolished in 1975.
