Wrapping itself around Glenridding Dodd's and Sheffield Pike's lower slopes, Glencoyne Wood is a lovely mixed woodland on the shores of Ullswater. It was here that William and Dorothy Wordsworth saw the beautiful daffodils that inspired the poem of the same name, one of Britain's favourites.
