The "Dibbe" are pots in the Hessian dialect. The story says that a "Dibbefräh", who was on the way with her goods from Marburg to the market in Frankenberg, was attacked and murdered here. The history books say nothing more about the deed itself, but this memorial stone was set here. The unworked stone bears the year 1852. A cross appears to have been carved into the head.
