        Wiki:

The Sögel Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Sögel in the Emsland district in Lower Saxony. It is a protected cultural monument.

There are 67 gravestones in the “Am Loruper Weg” cemetery. The oldest dates from 1835, the youngest from 1986. For the year 1858, an area of 2120 m² is given for the cemetery. He was desecrated during the Nazi era. It was probably also devastated during the November pogroms in 1938 and gravestones were destroyed. In 1947 the cemetery was desecrated again. For 1952 an area of 3084 m² is given. It was repaired between 1952 and 1954. It has been owned by the State Association of Jewish Communities of Lower Saxony since 1959, and the Sögel community has been responsible for cemetery maintenance since 1999.
