BIGGEST INSECT BOX IN BREDA
In other places in the city, Breda may be an oasis of green, but (among others) in Tuinzigt there is a lack of urban nature and there is little room for butterflies, for example. With this painting we bring nature in an alternative way to Tuinzigt, with butterfly species that are almost extinct in the Netherlands.
From top to bottom you see a peacock, thistle butterfly and (thyme) blue. These butterflies were chosen because they can also be found as street names in the adjacent Westerpark district.
