The park-like cemetery was only created in the 1990s and is therefore quite young. You won't find beautiful old tombstones here.
But the complex is extremely interesting - the cemetery is surrounded by a graft-like ditch, on the banks of which many, even rare, plant species have settled.

Hiking
There is a large parking lot at the cemetery, which can be used as a starting point for hikes. After a walk through the park, similarly laid out cemetery, you can either visit the next-door NSG Sandtrockenrasen Achim or, after crossing the cemetery, continue to hike to the Weser.
