View Wümmeberg a fantastic view of the Wümmetal.
Through the valley of the Haverbeeke (at Oberhaverbeck) it goes up to the 104 meter high Wümmeberg. A cozy place for a walk break with a view.
From here you have a wide view of the headwaters of the Wümme and the ridge of the "Suhorn", which lies exactly over the area.
The watershed between the Weser and the Elbe is inconspicuous. On the right, the moor of the Wümme spring area extends. A small lake is blinking in the sun. On the left a sheepfold, somewhere the Heidschnucken are bleating. The branch in front of the Wulfsberg.
Then past the headwaters of Brunau, which flows into the Luhe and then into the Elbe. Low sand dunes on the way. Fine white sand that the heath has not completely covered.

Fantastically beautiful ... and in moderate weather almost deserted, as it is off the "mass paths" 👍
