This cross-border mountain bike route begins with a leisurely forest path as far as the Sattelbergalm and further across the border to South Tyrol. From here on a steep cart path to the Sattelberg and then in a comfortable up and down along the Grenzkammstrasse to the Sandjoch. Here you can decide, either over the Sandjoch to Obernbergersee or, as in our description, on a narrow, mostly easy-to-navigate path to the Portjoch. Certainly the most beautiful part of this dream tour in terms of landscape - great views down into the Pflersch valley, to the Feuersteinferner with the flint stones and to the Agglsspitze. From the Portjoch, a short pushing / carrying route down to the driveway in the valley floor. Note: In previous years, access to the South Tyrolean side was strictly forbidden (very strict farmer!). But now the son is in charge and the driveway is currently tolerated. The prohibition signs will remain so that no right arises from them!
