Very impressive castle with beautiful gardens. Here you can go for a wonderful walk. There is even a wedding room in the castle. Therefore you can see many bridal couples here.

Hiking

Also called "Westphalian Versailles", it is one of the main attractions of the entire Münsterland. It was built in 1703-33. The castle got its nickname because of the park and the models of French architecture.
Owned by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia since 1950 and now used as a training center for prospective tax officials. Hence the nickname "Robber Baron Castle".
