A mill of the 'standerd' type. See information on molendatabase.nl/nederland/molen.php?nummer=261. Newly built to replace the mill that was lost.

    Description

The Zeldenrust is a flour mill on the Oude Kleefsebaan in Overasselt in the Gelderland municipality of Heumen. This post mill was built in Geertruidenberg in 1736, moved to Raamsdonksveer and in 1890 to Overasselt. In November 1972 a heavy storm destroyed Zeldenrust, which was weakened by overdue maintenance. Ten years later, in 1982, the mill was rebuilt on its current site. The Zeldenrust has two pairs of grinding stones. The mill is owned by the municipality of Heumen and is open to visitors on Sunday afternoons.
