After the designer Luigi Colani had resided in Haus Ketteler for a few years, the architect and designer Dieter Sieger (ritzenhoff.de/designer/dieter-sieger) moved in in 1988 and had the castle extensively restored, including among other things to use for his design agency. sieger design can still be found today in the Ketteler house.
The castle itself is still owned by the Ketteler family.
