The whistling boy is Feldkahl's local symbol, stood as a fountain figure from 1963 to 1976 at the Scharfen Eck across from the Engel inn. In 2016, the new fountain at the new location made of red sandstone was opened to the public by stonemason Chistopher Steigerwald. Source information sign Bloopifferbrunnen
