The castle is hidden in the foliage behind the Rupeldijk. In the past, this building was a luxurious hunting pavilion. The tower that you can see from the Rupeldijk is built in neoclastic style (1850-1860)
The castle is unfortunately privately owned.

Located on the Rupeldijk, north of the sailing pond of the same name. According to a 17th-century polder map, two walled farms used to be, see the current ramparts and preserved pond to the west. During the investigation, a very dilapidated and empty castle, allegedly originally a hunting pavilion of the Counts of Hoorn, mentioned in 1698 as a playhouse and dilapidated castle. Current Classicist castle, founded around 1797 for the de Meester family and enlarged in the third quarter of the 19th century (circa 1850-1860) with the neo-Gothic tower; restored circa 1900 and extended with a portico during the Second World War (1941).
