Tips
The little church stands on a rock spur of the Pankraz rock, which is preceded by the castle ruin Karlstein. Although it is not particularly large, it protrudes from the treetops because of its exposed position. 300 steps lead up to the church and if you have just passed the steep ascent to the castle ruin Karlstein, one asks oneself whether it is worth the effort. I would say yes. Even if the church is closed, you can look through a hole in the door into the interior - and the view over Karlstein and Bad Reichenhall is fantastic!
