The Atlantic Road Cycle Path is the largest in the country. Over 62 kilometers, it consists of several routes that offer exceptional conditions of comfort and safety to ride a bike, rollerblade, skateboard or scooter, crossing four municipalities in the district of Leiria: Marinha Grande, Alcobaça, Pombal and Nazaré. You can breathe the air of the forests and pine forests characteristic of the region, and also the Atlantic sea air, which accompanies the trip during most of the route, whether it is closer or at the bottom of the cliffs.

In the extreme north, this bike path begins in Mata do Urso, close to Osso da Baleia beach, in the municipality of Pombal. Proceed towards Lagoa da Ervedeira, perfect for windsurfing, and visit the village of Pedrógão, already in the municipality of Leiria, and its beaches, where the Art of Xávega (traditional fishing) is still practiced. Passing through Lagoa da Ervedeira and the village of Pedrógão, the bike path runs parallel to the sea and very close to the beaches, namely Praia do Fausto and Praia do Pedrógão, North and South.
