The Faro do Penedo da Saudade is located on the Atlantic coast of São Pedro de Moel, in the district of Leiria, Portugal. This lighthouse, built in 1912, stands on a cliff that gives it its name. The quadrangular stone and masonry tower is 32 meters high and is equipped with a spiral staircase.

The lighthouse was automated in 1980 and its light, which originally ran on oil vapor, now uses a 1000 watt lamp. 😊
