Anyone coming from Herrnhaag may have passed the old square where cobblestones used to be hewn from Vogelsberg basalt. You can still see a large remnant of such stones there. They are not hewn as precisely as would have been necessary for urban paving, but they are always neatly crafted. What these look like when you pave a path with them can be seen at the point where this highlight has been marked.
