Dinas Oleu, or in English, the Fortress of Light, sits above Barmouth, grandly overlooking Cardigan Bay and the Llŷn peninsula. It contains the remains of an Iron Age fort, and the property is now owned by the National Trust. At the top you will find a stone platform that gives you commanding views out over the Mawddach estuary over towards Cadair Idris.
