Second part of today's hike from Foxton back to Harborough. Took the short way. The old footpath has been obliterated by the new housing development so we didn't follow this route on the the way out.

Hadn't intended to take this route but the old footpath, which short cuts the canal loop had dissapeared under a new housing development. It turned out to be a nice walk but a bit further than we had intended. Managed to find the a short way back in the next hike.

Had a wander round Pits the other day - just the right weather for a change.

Bit dubious about this at first but the trail proved to be quite dry with only a few slightly soft bits. Perfect weather for it. The descent from Haselbech Hill was pretty bad - it has been badly cut up by horses as it's quite soggy at times - its pretty well dried out now so its a real bone-shaker - even on a full sus!!!
