This hexagonal St. Rochus Chapel was built by order of Baron Auguste Joseph Ghislain d'Overschie de Neeryssche in 1841. He was lord of the castle, senator and mayor of Neerijse. The non-accessible castle d'Overschie is located opposite the chapel, which is located between the castle and the church.
