Former princely Wallerstein manor with an adjoining forester's house.

The castle ruins are worth a detour! A somewhat steep ascent leads from the Karlshof up to the ruins (not suitable for a pram). There is also a path on the other side of the mountain, but it is steeper. Once at the top you can stay there for a while and visit the ruins. The remains of the high walls are particularly impressive. When I was there, it was sometimes quite slippery and there was also snow - so remember to wear good shoes. This is also important in summer. Tip: There is another ruin nearby, the Niederhaus castle ruins.
