      The Columbia River Maritime Museum is a maritime history museum in the northwestern United States, located approximately ten miles (16 km) southeast of the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon.

      It has a national reputation for the quality of its exhibits and the breadth of its collections and was the first museum in Oregon to meet national accreditation standards. The museum is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. It is the official state maritime museum for Oregon.

      The museum opened 60 years ago in August 1963 in Old Astoria City Hall and moved to its current waterfront location in 1982. A renovation and expansion was carried out in 2001-02.
