    Sunset Beach State Recreation Site is a beautiful park with a historical significance. It marks the start of the west trailhead of the Fort-to-Sea Trail, a 6.5-mile path that follows the trail taken by Lewis and Clark during their journey to the Pacific Ocean. The park features a boardwalk that provides easy access to the beach and the Pacific Ocean, with stunning views of Cape Disappointment and Ecola State Park.
