The Hochrautalm was definitely a highlight on this tour. The entire Alm is very lovingly and comfortably furnished. The food and the view were fantastic. We had the Kaiserschmarren which was one of the best we have ever tasted. The Almtraum, a surprise dessert, was just great. All staff were super friendly. You should not miss a visit.

The ascent from Rasen di Sopra to Hochraut Alm is a difficult route, not intermediate as described. Arrived on the malga was closed. We decided not to make the descent due to the danger and rather lengthen the route from 8 to 20 km.
