Schwarz's Cross - atonement cross for a murder"In the Middle Ages, an abbot from Nossen came to visit his colleague in the Grünhain monastery and was given a rich gift. As he rode home along the iron path, he was attacked and killed by a nasty fellow because of the things he was carrying. The murderer was caught and brought to justice.
