The church of San Leonardo al Lago, near Siena, was originally a 12th-century Augustinian hermitage, fortified in the 14th century. The apse features 14th century frescoes by Lippo Vanni and the refectory preserves remains of a 1445 fresco by Giovanni di Paolo del Grazia.
