Tips
If you want to avoid the main road from Siena to Colle di Val d'Elsa and are not afraid of a few meters, here is a great, low-traffic alternative.
The route leads through fields and through forest. Especially on the west side you have beautiful views into the Elsa Valley. From this side, the way is sometimes a bit steep (about 12%). Coming from the east, however, it is a nice and pleasant easy driveway.
A really worthwhile alternative to the northeastern SP2.
The place Celsa is not true at the crossing. Also the Castello di Celsa is not visible from the street.translated by
