Within the Diepenring the street is called the Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat; beyond that is the Nieuwe Kijk in 't Jatstraat. Originally the street was also called Straight Jat, the current Kromme Elleboog was then known as the Kromme Jat. The street runs from the Zwanestraat to the deep ring.
