Archaeopark Vogelherd and Vogelherd Cave

Great park - unfortunately it was closed when we were there.

The park extends around the UNESCO World Heritage Vogelherdhöhle with the name “Caves and Ice Age Art of the Swabian Alb”. In the park, in addition to the cave, you will also discover an information center with an exhibition of stone and ivory tools as well as works of art from the period. In the outdoor area you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in everyday life in the Stone Age at various themed areas.

Opening hours: From April to October, daily except Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. From November to March for individual visitors, every Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Entry costs 7 euros for adults, 5 euros is the reduced entry price.

Very interesting for families with children. It's a little quieter there at the moment (thanks to Corona) but otherwise there's a lot going on there!
