The small Protestant church is probably one of the oldest churches on the Eder. Its core dates back to the 12th century and the choir is still preserved from the original Romanesque building. In 1782 it was extensively renovated and in 1849 it was finally given an organ. After another renovation, it was reopened in 2004.
