The sculpture of the crouching woman, completed by Eberhard Bachmann in 1983, was called "Dreaming"

Here - on the idyllic southern shore of the Obersee - you can see a sculpture by the sculptor Eberhard Bachmann: "The Squatting Woman", a squatting nude girl on a round base. The closed shape of the body is reminiscent of an oval. The child's head rests in the hands. This face expresses calm, self-forgetfulness and quiet enjoyment of life. It is easy to understand why the artificial stone figure is also called the “sun worshiper”.
Bachmann had his studio very close by. He lived here since the 1950s. Hohenschönhausen became a second home for him.
