I don't know why it says "semi-hardened" in the title. It is completely paved with concrete (or was that not yet when this highlight was created?). More to the west there is a gravel segment, but you can drive on this segment completely, from the dike. However, the road can be heavily polluted if agricultural vehicles have been over it (maybe that put the maker of the highlight on the wrong track? It sometimes looks more like a solid gravel road). It is quieter here than on the dike road. So a nice alternative piece.

Kleefse Veerstraat is the name of this road through the floodplains. It is completely paved with concrete instead of asphalt. From the dike you can go to the gravel section, for example, shortly along the Maas or via the other concrete road back to the dike. This road can be heavily polluted if agricultural vehicles have passed over it. It is quieter here than on the dike road. So a nice alternative piece.
