Very beautiful but demanding mountain trail with climbing sections I+. It is designated as a via ferrata, but is not secured with wire ropes, so good surefootedness and practice in easy climbing are required. Walk only in dry weather.

At the end of the section, the Reichenhaller Haus awaits with food and drink. When walking the trail there is a wonderful view of Bad Reichenhall and when crossing the ridge to the north in the direction of Freilassing.

You should definitely be fit and surefooted on this trail. There are considerable parts to be mastered as easy scrambling (I +); from Padinger Alm approx. 2.5 hours to the Reichenhaller Haus.

A little thrill? Deep views of Bad Reichenhall and wide views of the Watzmann make your heart beat faster on this section. Or is it your pulse? Because on this climb you should bring sure-footedness and a head for heights. It goes down pretty low. For fast uphill.

In easy climbing with a great view, you scramble purposefully towards the Reichenhaller Haus. You will love him, the ascent to the "Stone Hunter". But careful: the climb is only recommended for experienced hikers.
