A little thrill? Deep views of Bad Reichenhall and wide views of the Watzmann make your heart beat faster on this section. Or is it your pulse? Because on this climb you should bring sure-footedness and a head for heights. It goes down pretty low. For fast uphill.

In easy climbing with a great view, you scramble purposefully towards the Reichenhaller Haus. You will love him, the ascent to the "Stone Hunter". But careful: the climb is only recommended for experienced hikers.

Partially on all fours one dissects the Hochstaufen. A little challenging and a nice route to the climb.
To descend but more about Bartlmahd.

Very nice mountain path with climbing points I +. Is designated as a via ferrata but is not insured with wire ropes, therefore, surefootedness and exercise in light climbing required. Best to commit in dry weather. At the end of the section, the Reichenhaller Haus is waiting with food and drink. When you walk the trail, there is a wonderful view to Bad Reichenhall and crossing the degree to the north towards Freilassing.
