Rectangular, irregular floor plan, formed by two flanks with arcades of Tuscan stone columns under two running galleries, originally public in nature and open to the outside, and currently closed by a Central European style glazing that makes it unique in Spain. The galleries of the Plaza served as platforms for public, festive and religious events, such as the famous bullfights that took place until 1785, when they were banned by Carlos III.
