Indeed they are still closed, as you say we will have to find out.

Some 400 meters from the Virgen de las Nieves Sanctuary, these thermal baths were recovered a few years ago.

I've been wanting to see them, because they were closed. I know they can be visited but I'll have to find out how.

The aerial photo is taken from Google Maps and I haven't been able to take the photo of the bathroom itself, as I couldn't get through; It is taken from the news published by the local newspaper "miciudadreal", in 2014, where it is indicated that the bathrooms have been recovered, as well as the rooms that were used to spend the night, a well with which the bathrooms were filled if necessary and native vegetation.

We find several of this type of baths in the Campo de Calatrava. This is a three-meter pool, with water that flows from the interior of the earth as a result of the volcanic activity in the area and that forms what is known as boiling holes.

I'll upload photos as soon as I can see them.

A section of the road to get there was missing. I added it and it already appears on the Komoot map 🙂
