After the steep ascent through the Trippachtal, the Kegelgasslalm rewards you with home-made South Tyrolean specialties at an altitude of 2109 meters. In particular, the variety of dumplings should be remarkable. Unfortunately I was late at the snack station, so that there was neither time for the tour over the Kreuzkofel nor for a tasting, as suggested in the hiking guide.
