A place unnoticed by many visitors to Rome, which probably offers unique art treasures: the cloister with portrait frescoes of all French kings, a magnificent refectory, two unique anamorphoses, a magnificent sundial ("astrolabe") and last but not least the chapel of the Mater Admirabilis. The square in front of the Trinità dei Monti Church in Rome offers one of the city's most famous panoramas, dominated by the view of the historic rooftops and, in the distance, the imposing Dome of St. Peter's Basilica. From the top of the monumental staircase, the gaze sweeps across the Roman historic center, embracing the ochre-colored rooftops, the domes of churches, and the profiles of palaces, with the silhouette of St. Peter's standing out sharply on the western horizon, especially on clear days or at sunset.
