The Deschampstoren, known locally by its full name Donjon de la Seigneurie Deschamps, is located east of the town of Braine-le-Château (Brake Castle in Dutch), in the province of Walloon Brabant in the Walloon Region of Belgium.

The Deschampstoren, a small square tower with a stair tower in the northwest corner, was founded sometime between the 13th and 15th centuries. The ground floor, with 1.35 m thick walls, is made of quartzite with blocks of white limestone at the corners. The fief of Deschamps always depended on the fief of Braine.

The only registered historic owner is Warnier, lord of Carnières, in 1502. In the 16th century, the upper floors of the tower were rebuilt in brick.

In 1848 the tower was restored. During the 20th century it was abandoned and slowly fell into disrepair. In the 1990s, the tower was restored and made habitable.

Currently, the Deschamps Tower is part of a working farm and privately occupied. It is therefore not to be visited. Too bad, I'm curious about the interior.
