The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Fontana is located just outside the town of Camairago, in a place where tradition recalls that there was already a previous sanctuary from the 13th century. Here there was a bend in the Adda and the area was considered dangerous by fishermen and right next to where there is a spring a small chapel was built which is still present today.
