The Zwönitz–Scheibenberg railway line was a branch line in Saxony. The line, also known as the Erzgebirge Panorama Railway or Upper Erzgebirge Observation Railway, ran from Zwönitz via Beierfeld and Elterlein to Scheibenberg. Most of the line was dismantled in 1947 as reparations for the Soviet Union. The rest of the line between Elterlein and Scheibenberg was closed in the 1960s.

Beierfeld station was opened as a stop on May 1, 1900 and was elevated to a station in 1905. With the dismantling of the Zwönitz–Elterlein section, it went out of service on August 21, 1947. The reception building, the goods shed and the loading ramp are still present at the location on the street "Am Bahnhof" in Beierfeld.[4] It was located at the northern exit of the town in the direction of Grünhain. At the station exit in the direction of Scheibenberg there is a small memorial train that commemorates the era of the railway in Beierfeld.

Beierfeld station on the former railway line Zwönitz - Scheibenberg. As a reminder, there is a Kö and an optional car at the station.

All that remains is the memory of the Beierfeld stop on the Zwönitz-Scheibenberg railway line, which had to be dismantled as reparations in 1949 on the orders of the Soviet military administration. For this reason, a small memorial train was set up on the road in 2005.
