The Gerhartl refuge is located at the end of the Johannesbach Gorge in the Gutenstein Alps. The fastest way to the hut is via the Eichberg from Unterhöflein. The hike through the Johannesbach Gorge from Würflein is an experience especially for children. The hut is also designed for families. Children's dishes on the menu and a playground complete the offer.

Overnight stays in the hut are possible, and two holiday homes are also available for rent. Dogs are not allowed in the rooms
