On the border of Herent and Kortenberg, a rich strip of nature is developing along the Molenbeek in a landscape of grasslands, forests and open water. You will find special species, such as the rare marsh fern, the kingfisher and the meadow damselfly. The area is part of De Groene Vallei, an oasis of tranquility between Leuven, Brussels and Mechelen.
