The buildings in the settlement are now part of the Bretmühle stud farm. This is a nationally known horse breeding business with horse training and a riding and driving school. The current stable and barn complex was built around 1950. The boxing, running and stallion stables were built around 1980. The latter is now used as a children's holiday camp.
