Every year, the migrant shepherd from Mühlhausen, accompanied by his two dogs, drives his herd along the Lech from the north of Augsburg into the city forest from spring on - he returns in autumn.
The sheep graze on the summer over the city forest and act so since 1998 in cooperation with the landscape care association as "natural lawn mower" - mow, mow, mow ... ;-)
A beautiful project with a long tradition and a fantastic experience when you meet them on your journey and suddenly find your way among curious sheep by bike.
