The Leuk is a tributary of the Saar and has a length of 15 km. The river rises at a source height of 365 m above sea level. NN in the Saarland town of Eft-Hellendorf (Gde. Perl). On the Saarland side, next to Eft-Hellendorf, lie the Roman Villa Borg, the districts of Oberleuken and Kesslingen, and on the Rhineland-Palatinate side the towns of Kollesleuken and Trassem, as well as the city of Saarburg, where the Leuk flows into the Saar via an imposing waterfall .
