Another focal point of the elongated square is the building Am Markt 2, originally an inn, later a residential and commercial building, today a bank. The following row of houses dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and extends along the waterfall. This IS framed on the opposite side by the former electoral mill, today's “Amüseum” (municipal museum for traditional craft trades and guilds).
