Cycling
The train station of Brand is a good starting point for cycling to Dahmeradweg (2 km), Gurkenradweg, Spreeradweg and Hofjagdradweg (every 6 km). It is served by the RE 2 (Wismar - Berlin - Cottbus) and the RB 24 (Eberswalde - Berlin - Senftenberg), every hour. There is also a bus shuttle from the station to nearby Tropical Islands. The old station building is beautifully overgrown in the summer with dozens of green ivy banks.
