The Lūžņu Trench is a hidden little spring that winds through the Ķemeri National Park and is known for its sulphurous mineral waters. The slightly greenish colour and earthy smell give the water a mystical appeal - a remnant of the ancient Baltic bogs. A wooden walkway takes you close to the spring, where information boards explain the composition and formation of this mineral-rich spring. In the middle of the dense forest, this place feels almost surreal, as if it were from another time, created for quiet moments and deep breaths in the untouched nature.
