Location: Unterföhring, Landkreis München, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria, Germany
The footbridge, which rests on four pillars, is a concrete girder bridge with a length of 112 m. South of the jetty is a beautiful gravel bank in the Isar on the eastern bank. To the north lies the Unterföhringer weir, which was replaced in 2009 by a rough bed sill.
To the east of the Isarsteg you can reach the Ismaning main pumping station, the Hypoberg and the Poschinger Weiher with its lake service.
Apart from the Isar Bridge Unterföhring, the footbridge is the northernmost Isar crossing from the Munich city area.Nearby there is a memorial stone for the Isardüker ferry accident, in which twelve workers died on June 18, 1924.

The maritime industry is very close by. A nice opportunity to stop by.
