The parish church of St. Peter was built from 1863 to 1864 as a replacement for the dilapidated predecessor church. The 37m high bell tower was added in 1874.

Road cycling

In the Middle Ages there was a Romanesque chapel in Orsbach. But a bell marked on the year 1250 allows this age of the church. Since the building was now very dilapidated, the quarry stone chapel was demolished in 1863 and a brick church was built.
